Three simple habits

Care That Fits Into Everyday Life.

01

Wipe Gently

For routine cleaning, use a soft damp cloth. Keep the cloth clean and avoid abrasive pads or harsh cleaning products.

02

Attend to Spills

Blot spills promptly rather than leaving them on the surface. Wine, lemon and other acidic liquids can mark or dull natural stone.

03

Use a Coaster

Coasters under drinks and a suitable protective mat under hot items help protect the finish while you enjoy your furniture.

The details

A Little Help to Keep It Looking Its Best.

Uncoated furniture is supplied with a care kit containing a soft cloth and a specially selected stone care polish. Use the polish as needed to refresh the appearance, following the instructions supplied with your kit.

There is no fixed weekly or monthly schedule. Your furniture has already been treated in our workshop, so there is no need to apply the product as soon as it arrives.

The treatment applied in our workshop is different from the maintenance polish supplied for use at home.

Care products help maintain the surface appearance. They are not a repair treatment for acid etching, scratches or physical damage.

The details

If Your Piece Has a Protective Film.

A soft damp cloth is sufficient for routine cleaning of a film-coated surface. Do not apply the marble care polish over the film.

Coated pieces are not supplied with a marble care kit. We do not recommend removing the film yourself, and do not offer an in-home film removal or replacement service.

If you would like a protective film on a new order, speak with our team before production so we can agree the finish with you.

Good to know

A Little More Detail.

Does the workshop treatment make marble stain-proof?

The treatment helps protect the surface, but does not make natural stone immune to staining or acid marks. Wiping spills promptly is still the best everyday habit.

What if lemon or wine leaves a dull mark?

Acid can affect the surface finish even when the stone has been treated. Avoid scrubbing or trying stronger chemicals. The supplied care polish should not be treated as a repair product for this type of mark.

Does filled travertine need different daily care?

The filled surface helps prevent crumbs collecting in the natural cavities. For everyday care, use the same gentle approach: a soft damp cloth, prompt attention to spills and coasters.
