Brontë & Buell · The furniture guide
Veins, mineral tones and subtle variations give each piece its character. Our furniture is made from genuine marble and travertine, chosen for the way it brings natural depth into a room.

The details
Our stone surfaces are genuine natural marble or travertine, rather than porcelain, ceramic or an imitation stone finish. Each slab has its own pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
Marble offers distinctive veining and colour. Travertine brings a more softly textured appearance; its natural cavities are filled to create a practical furniture surface and help prevent crumbs collecting in open holes.
Product photography shows the stone and design. Before dispatch, we share photographs and video of your finished order so you can see the particular character of your piece.
Behind the design

Dining tables include marine plywood support beneath the marble, set back from the edges. It supports the stone while keeping the visible design focused on the natural surface.
We apply a protective treatment in the workshop. Simple everyday care helps preserve the finish: wipe spills promptly and use coasters beneath drinks.
The details
If you order a dining table and a coffee table in the same stone, we consider them together. We use the same slab where possible, or slabs from the same selection and quarry, to create a consistent overall look.
This gives the pieces a shared character without promising identical veining. The small differences are part of the material itself.

Approximate weights are listed on the individual product pages. Check the exact model and dimensions you are considering; weight varies between pieces.
It is straightforward to care for, but it is not immune to spills or surface marks. A soft damp cloth, coasters and prompt attention to spills make a meaningful difference. Our care guide explains the routine.
